Today in Avid - Finding your Tomato/Pepper Starts

Today in Avid we are doing a Scavenger Hunt for our Service Learning Project.  The students will be using the websites below to research the different types of Tomato/Pepper plants we will be distributing to the community.

The students will be using the following websites to find pictures and information about their tomatoes.  They will be filling out their information using Powerpoint in OFFICE 365 so they can access their work at home.

This Week in Avid - March Madness Begins

This week in Avid the students will be researching and learning about a random team that is in the NCAA March Madness Tournament.

The students will be working through a College Scavenger Hunt of information about that college.  Then they will be creating a 4 minute presentation on the College and a 12 scene storyboardthat.com storyboard.

Today in Avid - Finishing our College Research Projects and Learning Website Development

Today we will be giving the students time to finish their College Research Packets. If they finish they will begin learning how to develop websites using Code.org.


 The students will have to click on the link below to be directed to the Class.

NEWS ELA Corn Article

Today the students are working on taking their Cornell Notes on a NEWS ELA article.

After spending 10-15 minutes reading and noting the article they will be working in groups to complete an online question game.

After 1-2 rounds they will begin a quiz to end the day.
